Pancake tuesday


Shrove Tuesday or pancake tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday, celebrated in some Christian countries by consuming pancakes; in others, especially those where it is called Mardi Gras or a translation thereof, it is a carnival day, the last day of “fat eating” or “gorging” before the fasting period of Lent. ireland is a catholic country and growing up pancake tuesday was a massive day for us all. Now a days most people in ireland dont fast for lent but they still love pancakes.

I made them early this morning before work. For lent i dont fast but i do give up something or take up something.

This lent im going to focus on becoming a strong independent women
